The Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians is authorized to approve vocational nursing and psychiatric technician programs in California.
Pursuant to Business and Professions Code Sections 2880 and 4530, the Board prepares and maintains a list of schools which offer an approved program for vocational nurses and/or psychiatric technicians.
